Vast-Auto Distribution Ontario, a division of Groupe Del Vasto, held its annual golf tournament Aug. 24 at Nobleton Lakes Golf Club in Nobleton, Ontario. Over 120 participants, including Vast-Auto customers, suppliers and staff, practiced their swing on the course with colleagues and partners and raised money for the Automotive Industries Association (AIA) High Fives for Kids Foundation.The day ended with tournament champions receiving their awards.
Additionally, Raymond Proulx, chairman of the AIA Foundation, highlighted the longstanding partnership between Vast-Auto Distribution and the Foundation. At the end of the day, Mauro Cifelli, president and CEO of Groupe Del Vasto, presented Proulx a $5,000 check, the profits from the tournament, for the foundation.
The group said AIA High Fives for Kids Foundation’s mission is to “inspire and engage the members of automotive aftermarket in Canada to bring positive change and improve the quality of life for children and youth in their local communities.” Vast-Auto Distribution has been supporting this mission for the past ten years, the company said
