The acquisition represents O’Reilly’s entrance into the Canadian automotive aftermarket.
Groupe Del Vasto said the donation demonstrates the Del Vastos’ commitment to the future of the automotive aftermarket.
Over 120 participants raised money for the Automotive Industries Association High Fives for Kids Foundation.
More than 600 suppliers, employees, and shop and parts store owners of Groupe Del Vasto were in attendance.
The proceeds will be donated to charitable organizations, including the ALS Society of Quebec, Welcome Hall Mission, HA Foundation (Hereditary Angioedema), as well as the AIA High five for Kids Foundation.
The company says these changes will help deliver on Groupe Del Vasto’s goal of continually providing top-tier service to its customer base and increasing efficiencies across the organization.
Company President John Del Vasto has named Mauro Cifelli (pictured) as his successor.
