Ultra1Plus Receives Dexos1 GM Certification

Ultra1Plus 0W-20 and 5W-30 oils are certified in North America as dexos1 GM Approved-GEN3 engine oils.

Ultra1Plus announced its 0W-20 and 5W-30 oils are now certified in North America as dexos1 GM Approved-GEN3 engine oils by General Motors (GM).

The dexos engine oil specification, developed by GM Global Propulsion Systems engineers, denotes high quality, robust oils formulated to the most rigorous specifications in the industry and designed to add to the performance of GM engines, the company says.

“We have set out to make high performing quality lubricants and are honored to be recognized from an industry leader like General Motors,” said Carmine Colarusso, CEO of Ultra1Plus. “Receiving the designation of dexos1 certified products is confirmation that we are delivering what customers need.”

Ultra1Plus is also part of the Petroleum Quality Institute of America’s (PQIA) growing list of lubricant manufacturers, marketers, additive suppliers, and other supporters working to help ensure the quality and integrity of motor oils, transmission fluids and other lubricants in the market.
