Trux-N-Parts Joins Power Heavy Duty Network

Trux-N-Parts is the 14th company this year to join the Power Heavy Duty network.

Trux-N-Parts Power Heavy Duty has added Trux-N-Parts, located in Odessa, Texas, to its network. Operating five buildings on 38 acres in Odessa, the business serves a full range of customers’ parts needs, with a strong presence in the oilfield and agricultural markets that dominate the western region of the state, Power Heavy Duty said.

Founded in 1976 as a truck salvage company, the business became a full-line heavy-duty parts distributor in 2020. It now has more than 26,000 square feet of warehouse space, including a large showroom and retail area.

“We have a very loyal customer base that we’ve worked hard to build through our salvage business and our repair services, primarily resurfacing flywheels and rebuilding PTO driveshafts,” said Kevin Grissom, store manager of Trux-N-Parts, which he co-owns with his brother, Craig Grissom. “We were encouraged by many of them to get into parts sales, to increase our value proposition. It was a natural area for growth, and we decided that if we could maintain the same levels of customer satisfaction and dedication, we would expand into full-line distribution.”

Trux-N-Parts is the 14th company this year to join the Power Heavy Duty network, part of the VIPAR Heavy Duty Family of Companies, which stands at 920-plus locations including VIPAR Heavy Duty distributors.
