Truck Trailer & Equipment Acquires Former Pinnacle Truck & Trailer In West Memphis

Truck Trailer and Equipment, recently under new management, has initiated a strategic growth plan with Memphis as its first area targeted for expansion.

JACKSON, Miss. – Truck Trailer & Equipment takes on the Memphis marketplace with the acquisition of former Pinnacle Truck &Trailer in West Memphis, Tenn. Truck Trailer and Equipment, recently under new management, has initiated a strategic growth plan with Memphis as its first area targeted for expansion.

Truck Trailer & Equipment is headquartered in Jackson, Miss. With five locations, the company currently covers the entire state of Mississippi and the greater Memphis area. Truck Trailer & Equipment is now owned by the HollingsworthGroup and is a member of HDA Truck Pride. The company’s management team includes David Hollingsworth, president, and CFO John Waits.

Truck Trailer & Equipment has been servicing the commercial vehicle marketplace across the state of Mississippi since 1967. The company says its expansion into Memphis is a natural transition as the Memphis area has been void of independent distribution. Truck Trailer & Equipment carries inventory for all makes and models, premium brand-name products and a full array of services to handle the customers’ needs and solve their problems.

“We are excited about the new management team at Truck Trailer & Equipment. Their management style, customer focus and relentless efforts on operational excellence are a perfect fit for HDA Truck Pride. They have initiated a growth plan that will expand the footprint well beyond Truck Trailer & Equipment’s traditional Mississippi presence. We look forward to growing with them, not just in geographic scope, but more importantly from a products and services aspect as well as operational and technological capabilities,” said Don Reimondo, president and CEO of HDA Truck Pride.
