This release marks a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly solutions.
The award will be presented during the APRA Remanufacturing Day at Automechanika Frankfurt on September 15, 2021.
As demand for reman shoes grows and safety technology advances, wheel-end performance matters even more, says Bendix.
Yesterday, Congresswoman Haley Stevens (MI-11) introduced H.Res. 303, a bipartisan resolution expressing support for the designation of April 11, 2019, as “Remanufacturing Day.” The resolution was co-sponsored by Rep. Kelly (R-MS) and Rep. Jackson-Lee (D-TX).
The company’s remanufacturing efforts have saved the equivalent of 5,400 tons of new purchased parts in 2018, and also reduced its carbon footprint by the equivalent of 19,000 tons of CO2.
On the basis of findings in the report, remanufactured automotive parts are estimated to witness soaring demand in years to come, particularly owing to the growing need for cost competitive remanufactured diesel engines.
Reman Day is set for April 11. This event, now in its second year, is a day to advance the remanufacturing industry through remanufactured-hosted events and workforce development initiatives. This year also marks the 49th edition of Earth Day – the world’s largest environmental movement, celebrated each year on April 22.
NeoBrake plans to celebrate its 30th anniversary over the next fiscal year through October 2019, with special promotions and anniversary merchandise and gifts.
The brake shoe also offers the same five-year warranty as the one Bendix offers on its OE shoe.
