Goodyear Plant to Shut Down for 16 Days

From the Gadsden Times Goodyear’s Gadsden, Ala., plant will be shutting down production of tires for 16 days beginning Aug. 16, and four other Goodyear consumer tire plants also are reducing tire production, the company said Wednesday. Goodyear Gadsden Communications Manager Jackie Brehm Edmondson said the Goodyear plant will shut down at 1 p.m. Aug.
