Robert Christy Named President Of JohnDow Industries

He has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience developing and directing strategic national sales initiatives.

JohnDow Industries, a leading supplier of automotive repair equipment, today announced that Robert Christy has been appointed president, responsible for the management and growth of the company, including the coordination of a catalog of more than 6,000 part numbers. Christy joined JohnDow Industries as the company’s vice president of sales and marketing in 2016 and has been instrumental in the company’s long-term growth strategy as well as the development of new product lines. 

“This is an important time for JohnDow Industries as we continue to develop new products and services to support our customers in the automotive service industry,” said Christy. “I am looking forward to this challenge while working closely with our associates and customers to continue assisting the industry in making automotive repair operations run more efficiently and safely.”

JohnDow Industries’ products provide solutions and opportunities for its customers in a broad range of automotive service categories. Within each category are specific products that address professional technician needs and issues, such as fluid handling, air movement, around the wheel, storage solutions and maintenance and repair. 

Christy joined JohnDow Industries after serving as director of marketing for Dayco Products for 11 years. He has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience developing and directing strategic national sales initiatives. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Robert Morris University and a Master of Business Administration from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.
