SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. RepairPal has announced a new program that will give the nearly 37 million members of AARP 10 percent off the price of automotive services and repairs at participating RepairPal Certified shops across the U.S.
To qualify as a RepairPal Certified shop, an auto repair facility must undergo a comprehensive technical assessment by RepairPal’s team of ASE-certified master technicians, giving the AARP community access to a network of highly skilled and dependable automotive experts. RepairPal Certified shops must also meet world-class customer service standards, which RepairPal validates by interviewing verified customers and measuring the shop’s Net Promoter Score, a globally recognized measurement of customer satisfaction and loyalty. In addition, RepairPal Certified shops must guarantee the quality of their work with a minimum 12-month/12,000-mile warranty and guarantee to charge fair prices within the range of RepairPal’s RepairPrice Estimator.
"RepairPal and AARP share the same core principles of building value through trust, quality, transparency and savings," said Art Shaw, CEO of RepairPal. "Finding a quality repair shop is a difficult and often uncomfortable task. With our rigorous certification process and fast-growing network of RepairPal Certified shops, which already tops 500 nationwide, RepairPal is ideally suited to bring confidence and convenience to AARP members. We are thrilled to connect AARP members with the best repair shops across the country."
"AARP is constantly looking for ways to bring great value to its members," said Angela Jones, senior vice president of business development and lifestyle products and Services at AARP Services Inc.
