Phyzix Automotive Launches Virtual Training as Part of NASCAR Agreement

The site features NASCAR talent Ray Dunlap and Shannon Wiseman, as well as industry veteran Jeff Cowan of Jeff Cowan's Pro Talk. The university allows automotive technicians direct access to leading industry training 24/7 without the cost and interruption to business that travel incurs.

SOUTHLAKE, Texas — Phyzix Synthetics, the No. 1 Professional Maintenance Fluid of NASCAR, has announced the launch of its virtual training site, Phyzix University. The site features NASCAR talent Ray Dunlap and Shannon Wiseman, as well as industry veteran Jeff Cowan of Jeff Cowan’s Pro Talk. The university allows automotive technicians direct access to leading industry training 24/7 without the cost and interruption to business that travel incurs.

The platform is hosted on PhyzixUniversity.com, powered by LightspeedVT, the same company behind Top Chef University and Poker VT. The site incorporates the latest technology with industry professionals that bring the classroom to you.

"We are extremely proud of what we have been able to provide through Phyzix University. It has surpassed even our own expectations. Most quick lubes, service centers and dealerships would never have the opportunity to be exposed to the type of training we offer in Phyzix University. If they did, the cost would be tremendous. We are pleased to offer Phyzix University as a "value add" to Phyzix customers," said Jamie Watson, Phyzix Synthetics, director of training.

Training offered by the University covers product knowledge, sales, customer service and personal development. Currently, course categories include Phyzix Pit Crew, Earn Your Ride and Hall of Fame. Technicians can work their way through the course content and are tested to determine what they have learned. Testing metrics are designed to notify employers of their progress. When participants have passed all the modules within a category, they earn certification for that category.

The growth plan for Phyzix University is designed to continually add new content, talent and courses for continued education.

"The capabilities of this tool allow us to offer our consumers endless training opportunities," added Watson. The virtual training tool is in line with the company’s business model to offer a total value proposition to installers. The value proposition offers automotive service centers tools that aid in employee and customer retention. Additional tools for installers within the Phyzix arsenal include Phyzix PIT Rewards, and PAL Programs.

Phyzix Synthetics’ complete line of scientifically advanced high-performance products are designed for today’s automobile to include fuel system, engine, driveline, radiator and power steering additives and cleaners. Consumers can increase the overall performance of their vehicle when having it professionally serviced with the complete line of Phyzix professional maintenance fluids.
