Pep Boys Opens New Service and Tire Center in Elgin, Ill.

Open to the public as of Sept. 30, this new service and tire center is more than 6,200 square feet with eight service bays.

PHILADELPHIA — Pep Boys has opened a new service and tire center in Elgin, Ill. This service and tire center joins 22 other Pep Boys stores in the Chicago area.

Open to the public as of Sept. 30, this new service and tire center is more than 6,200 square feet with eight service bays. Services from maintenance and repair to tire installation are available, along with a small assortment of retail merchandise, service-related items and convenience products.

“We are very excited to be expanding Pep Boys by leading with our service business,” said Senior Vice President of Corporate Development Joe Cirelli. “Opening a service and tire center in Elgin as a complement to our existing supercenters in the surrounding area means we will be able to serve and satisfy customers in this neighborhood easily and conveniently.”

To celebrate this new service and tire center, a grand opening event will take place this winter. During the event, Elgin community members will be invited to join in the celebration and receive discounted services, among other promotions and free giveaways.
