China Automotive Systems Signs First U.S. Aftermarket Supply Contract with R&B

Steering components and systems supplier China Automotive Systems, Inc. (CAAS), has entered into its first aftermarket supply contract in the United States with aftermarket supplier R&B, known for such brands as Dorman and Motormite. With this agreement and the first shipment of power steering products, China Automotive Systems has officially entered the U.S. auto parts aftermarket.

Aftermarket Industry Veteran Jack Cameron Joins AASA Staff

Jack Cameron, AAP, a 24-year veteran of the automotive aftermarket, will join the staff of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) as vice president, programs and member services. Cameron currently is general manager – automotive/heavy duty aftermarket, the Americas, at The Timken Co. in Canton, OH. He will relocate from Ohio to the association headquarters in Research Triangle Park, NC, and officially join the AASA staff on Tuesday, Aug. 14.
