MAHLE Clevite Names New General Manager

MAHLE Clevite Inc. has announced the appointment of Michael Tate to the position of general manager. Tate brings 26 years of aftermarket experience to MAHLE Clevite, most recently of SPX Service Solutions. In his new role, Tate will assume the management responsibilities for all North American Aftermarket activities for the MAHLE Group, which includes MAHLE Clevite Inc., MAHLE Clevite Canada, ULC and the Aftermarket division of MAHLE Componentes de Motores S.A. de C.V.

ANN ARBOR, MI — MAHLE Clevite Inc. has announced the appointment of Michael Tate to the position of general manager. Tate brings 26 years of aftermarket experience to MAHLE Clevite, most recently of SPX Service Solutions.

In his new role, Tate will assume the management responsibilities for all North American Aftermarket activities for the MAHLE Group, which includes MAHLE Clevite Inc., MAHLE Clevite Canada, ULC and the Aftermarket division of MAHLE Componentes de Motores S.A. de C.V. He will report directly to Arnd Franz, director and general manager for MAHLE Aftermarket.

In addition to SPX, Michael’s leadership abilities exhibited in a variety of sales management positions with familiar companies like Parker Automotive, Dorman Products, along with Phillips & Temro Industries.

Michael is the father of three sons. His fiance is in the process of relocating to Ann Arbor, MI, where Tate will serve at the MAHLE Clevite headquarters.
