BETHESDA, MD – The National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA) raised another $6,500 for the Aftermarket Foundation at its 35th annual Knowledge Exchange conference this month in Tampa, Fla. Since 2004, the organization has used its annual meeting as an opportunity to raise money for the Aftermarket Foundation, the industry’s only charity organization.

Founded in 1959 as the Jesselson Benevolent Association, the Aftermarket Foundation assists individuals and families in the automotive aftermarket through difficult times.

"We are very pleased with the growth of our fundraising efforts. Both the membership and our vendor partners are to be congratulated on their generous and enthusiastic contributions to such an important cause," said Chris Nierintz, president, NCMA.

At the meeting in Tampa, NCMA raised money through its golf outing, a silent auction and a raffle. In addition, Technologue held a raffle in conjunction with the NCMA Vendor Trade Show and donated a large flat screen television.

"I was happy and honored to participate," said Nick Porrini, president, Technologue, and a member of the Aftermarket Foundation board of directors. "The foundation is very thankful for the efforts of NCMA and for selecting the Aftermarket Foundation as the cause to support."

"NCMA thanks the many vendors and members who assisted with donations and sponsorships during the conference and trade show," Nierintz said. "Special recognition goes to Pricedex Software for a generous donation that helped NCMA reach their goal this year."
