Tenneco Expands Walker, Dynomax Product Lines

Tenneco will introduce 575 additional part numbers to its Walker and DynoMax aftermarket emission control product lines in April, continuing the company’s aggressive expansion of coverage for domestic and import passenger vehicles. The new product SKUs ranging from cat-back exhaust systems to direct-fit catalytic converters and premium muffler assemblies will increase Tenneco’s exhaust coverage to more than 92 percent of the North American passenger car population.

Tenneco to Host Aftermarket Overview Seminar in April

Tenneco will be the host of the University of the Aftermarket’s Aftermarket Overview Seminar April 25 and 26 at the company’s location in Monroe, MI, south of Detroit. This seminar will provide the latest information on all facets of the industry. Tenneco Expands China Operations

Tenneco has announced plans to expand its operations in China with investment in both manufacturing and engineering facilities. The company will open a wholly-owned elastomer manufacturing facility in Suzhou, China, and a joint venture emission control engineering center in Shanghai. The company has also reached an agreement to increase its ownership share to 65 percent in its Beijing ride control joint venture.

Tenneco Aftermarket Pros and Distributor Partners Visit 1,427 So-Cal Shops in One Day

Hundreds of Tenneco Inc. North American aftermarket team members and warehouse distributor sales professionals recently hit the streets of Southern California, visiting 1,427 service dealer locations in one day. This was the first of several single-day ‘lightning strikes’ planned by Tenneco, designed to communicate to customers information on the company’s latest products and promotions.

Tenneco Hopes to Expand Expert Plus Membership with New Promotions and Premiums

Expert Plus, Tenneco’s installer marketing program, is targeting record membership in 2006 through an expanded range of trade and consumer sales promotions and business premiums. A promotional incentive and marketing program, Expert Plus enrolled more than 20,000 service dealer locations in 2005. The program is offered exclusively through the Monroe shocks and struts, Monroe brakes, Walker exhaust, DynoMax performance exhaust and Rancho performance suspension product lines.

WIX brand filters has named the winners of its first-ever WIX Filters Lap Leader Award contest. The WIX Filters Lap Leader Award contest enables fans to be a part of the action.
