ITW Successfully Completes Click Commerce Tender Offer

Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW) has successfully completed its cash tender offer to purchase all outstanding shares of common stock of Click Commerce. Click Commerce is a provider of on-demand supply chain management solutions. The company works with clients such as Alaska Airlines, BASF, Citibank, Delphi, Eastman Kodak Company, Jabil Global Services, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, Pier 1, Ryder and Verizon to coordinate and optimize business processes, accelerate revenue, lower costs and improve customer service.

Johnson Controls Profit Tops $1 Billion

Defying the doldrums and losses experienced by its auto-parts competitors, Johnson Controls Inc. (JCI) on Wednesday reported record results, posting $1 billion in profit for the first time on more than $32 billion in sales. The Glendale, WI-based company, Wisconsin’s only Fortune 100 company, said its net income rose 27 percent in its fiscal fourth quarter, as strong sales and profit from its building efficiency and power solutions businesses offset poor results from automotive seats and interiors.

Pirelli Promotes Three Executives

ROME, GA – Several executives recognized for being instrumental in Pirelli’s significant growth over the past four years were recently promoted to vice president posts. Steve Carpino has been promoted to head of R&D and product development, John Hagan will now be in charge of original equipment, and Andrew Kearton, will be responsible for manufacturing.
