OAC Elects New Members to Board of Directors

MANN+HUMMEL has been presented the Bosch Supplier Award for the years 2005 and 2006 in the Mechanics category. This is the first time that MANN+HUMMEL has won the award. MEMA Releases New Study on the Impact of the Parts Supplier Industry
Yesterday in Dearborn, MI, the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) in collaboration with the Center for Automotive Research (CAR) released a new study that establishes the U.S. motor vehicle parts supplier industry as the nation’s leading manufacturing sector, contributing approximately 4.5 million jobs nationwide and providing more jobs than any other sector in seven states.
UCI Appoints New VP for Export Sales; Sales Manager for Canadian Market
United Components Inc. (UCI) has announced the appointment of two new executives. Rafaat (Raf) Kureshi will join UCI in the newly created position of vice president of export sales and marketing. UCI has also announced the appointment of Phil Kasper as Canadian sales manager.

Overseas Automotive Council Selects Three New Board Members
Three new members have been elected to the Overseas Automotive Council (OAC) Board of Directors for three-year terms of office. OAC is the international aftermarket division of MEMA. The council promotes the sale in foreign markets of automotive products manufactured in North America.
