Affinia Group’s WIX Filtration Wins 2006 Spirit of NAPA Award

Affinia Group recently received its third consecutive Spirit of NAPA Award, which recognizes the manufacturer/supplier that has provided the most outstanding vendor support and service to the NAPA organization during the year. Presented to Affinia Under Hood Group’s Wix Filtration/NAPA Filters for a record-setting seventh time, the Spirit of NAPA Award is one of the most prestigious awards in the automotive aftermarket. Affinia’s other business unit, the Under Vehicle Group, is also a long-standing supplier of NAPA, supplying brake and chassis parts. Between the two business units, Affinia has won the Spirit of NAPA award 13 times.

APA Honors Bosch, KYB and Wagner Brakes at Annual Conference; 20 New Members Named

O’Reilly Honors BWD for Training and Technical Support

BWD Automotive has been named the 2004 O’Reilly Auto Parts Vendor of the Year for Training and Technical Support, in conjunction with Murray Temperature Control. The announcement was made by O’Reilly Auto Parts during its annual manager’s conference recently held in Dallas, Texas. The award was presented to BWD Automotive and Murray Temperature Control for fostering excellence in training and technical support, which included hands on clinics, technical hot-line support and training materials. BWD Automotive held 130 clinics in 2004, and trained 3,800 professional service technicians in engine management and temperature control seminars.
