Work Truck Show 2009 Exhibit Space Selling Fast; Registration Opens in October

Exhibit space at The Work Truck Show 2009 is nearly sold out, and many long-time exhibitors have reserved much larger booths than in the past, according to the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA), which produces the annual commercial truck and equipment event. The Work Truck Show 2009 is North America’s largest work truck event. The Work Truck Show brings together the latest full-size work trucks and equipment, along with individual vehicle components offered by hundreds of suppliers. The event also features industry-specific technical and business-management training sessions. The event will be held in conjunction with the 45th Annual NTEA Convention, March 4-6, 2009, at the McCormick Place West Building in Chicago. The convention runs March 3-6.

PPG Opens New Training Center in Northern California

PPG Refinish has opened a new state-of-the-art business development facility in Concord , Calif. , to serve collision centers in the Northern California region. This is PPG’s second such facility in the important California market. The new center encompasses 4,680-square-feet and is the only paint supplier-operated, fixed-location facility in Northern California.
