Automotive Distribution Network to Host 2009 National Convention in Nashville

The Automotive Distribution Network will host its 2009 National Convention Feb. 26 through March 1, 2009, at the Nashville Convention Center in downtown Nashville, Tenn. According to Mike Lambert, president of the Network, this is the first time the event will occupy a convention center, providing 30,000 square feet of meeting space and more than 40,000 square feet for the manufacturers’ exposition.

AASA Offers Members New Benchmarking Toolkit

MANN+HUMMEL announced this week that it has taken over the Korean Dongwoo company. Dongwoo is a market leader in the field of automotive filters in Korea and a former joint venture of the international MANN+HUMMEL Group. The new Korean subsidiary will be called MANN+HUMMEL Dongwoo.

Despite the sluggish economy, Peterson American Corp. is currently expanding its presence in order to better meet customer needs. Peterson American announced it will add capacity through a new Peterson Spring facility located in Queretaro, Mexico. Mexico has been a key operating location for Peterson for more than 50 years.
