Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Welcomes Two New Shareholders

SAN ANTONIO – Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Inc. (Alliance) has announced the addition of Distribuidores del Golfo S.A. (DIGOSA) to its membership. Based in southeast Mexico, the company has locations in Veracruz, Puebla, Merida, Villahermosa, Tuxtla Gutierrez, Poza Rica and Cancun. The company will convert its seven warehouses into Auto Value locations.

This addition brings the number of Alliance shareholders located in Mexico to nine. “The addition of DIGOSA is exciting,” said Richard Morgan, Alliance president and CEO. “We welcome them into the group and look forward to a long-lasting, fulfilling relationship that will add to our presence in the Mexico market.”

“The choice to sign on with Auto Value was easy,” said Jorge Mejia, principal of DIGOSA. “Their reputation in the industry and their commitment to their shareholders is paramount to their continued success and expansion and we are pleased to be a part of it.”

In addition, the Alliance has announced the addition of Miller Auto Parts & Supply Co. Inc. to its membership. Based in Huntingdon, Pa., Miller Auto Parts has locations in Maryland and Pennsylvania. The company will convert its 27 parts stores into Bumper to Bumper locations.

With this addition, the Alliance’s membership reaches 53 shareholders across North America. “We’re happy to welcome Miller Auto Parts & Supply into the Alliance group,” said Morgan. “They’ve been in business since 1921 and have grown with the industry. Now, we’re looking forward to them growing with us.”

“We’re excited about this new chapter in our company,” said Greg Buckley, principal of Miller Auto Parts & Supply. “Signing with Bumper to Bumper will take us into the future and give us the chance to be part of one of the largest aftermarket organizations in the world. Alliance’s reputation and their commitment to their shareholders were two of the key reasons we joined.”
