Work Truck Show 2009 Exhibit Space Selling Fast; Registration Opens in October

Exhibit space at The Work Truck Show 2009 is nearly sold out, and many long-time exhibitors have reserved much larger booths than in the past, according to the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA), which produces the annual commercial truck and equipment event. The Work Truck Show 2009 is North America’s largest work truck event. The Work Truck Show brings together the latest full-size work trucks and equipment, along with individual vehicle components offered by hundreds of suppliers. The event also features industry-specific technical and business-management training sessions. The event will be held in conjunction with the 45th Annual NTEA Convention, March 4-6, 2009, at the McCormick Place West Building in Chicago. The convention runs March 3-6.

Dennis Jones is Installed as National Truck Equipment Association’s 44th President

Dennis Jones, vice president of sales and marketing for Auto Truck Group (Bensenville, IL), was installed as the 44th president of the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA). Jones accepted the gavel from immediate past president Tom Rawson, CEO of RKI Inc. (Houston, TX), on Feb. 27, at the President’s Breakfast & NTEA Annual Meeting in Atlanta, GA.

New Exhibitors, Vehicles and Products Added to 2008 Work Truck Show

Floor space at The Work Truck Show 2008 is sold out, with a record 534 exhibitors covering 203,400 square feet in the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. Eighty-one of these exhibitors are participating in the event for the first time. The Work Truck Show 2008 will be held in conjunction with the 44th Annual National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) Convention on Feb. 26–28, with the Convention and educational sessions starting Feb. 25.
