Nick Caloroso Joins The Retrofit Source

Caloroso has joined the company as national sales manager.

The Retrofit Source (TRS), a designer, marketer, distributor and e-commerce retailer of performance automotive lighting solutions, announced that Nick Caloroso has joined the company as national sales manager.

Caloroso earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Truman State University and previously served as the sales manager for Diode Dynamics, an automotive LED lighting company, for the past seven years.

Caloroso is a young, upcoming talent in the automotive industry and an experienced manager in developing successful B2B sales channels. He also serves the automotive industry through his role as chair-elect for SEMA’s Young Executives Network (YEN). TRS says his passion, dedication and networking abilities have solidified valuable industry partnerships and assisted him in establishing world-class industry B2B programs. He will be leading an expanding team of specialized account managers charged with building the TRS B2B distribution network.

TRS offers premium automotive lighting products for enthusiasts and need-based customers looking to increase the performance and aesthetic of their headlights, taillights, auxiliary and accent lights. The company features industry-leading proprietary brands including Morimoto, Profile Performance and GTR Lighting that are sold through its reputable dealer and installer network and though e-commerce websites including The Retrofit Source, Headlight Revolution and XenonDepot within the U.S. and internationally. TRS complements its in-house brands with recognizable third-party brands to provide the largest assortment of high-end lighting products and serve as a one-stop-shop for all aftermarket lighting solutions. Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the company was among the first to commercialize custom aftermarket headlights.

“A perfect combination of innovative products, exceptional marketing and an enthusiastic team, formed The Retrofit Source’s identity as the market leader, and an authority within the automotive lighting market,” said Caloroso. “The company has developed incredibly desirable products and category culture by educating customers across video channels and social platforms with in-depth product reviews and how-to content. I welcomed the opportunity to work closely alongside CEO Brian Reese, TRS founder Matt Kossoff, Headlight Revolution founder Chris Nelson, and the full management team to assist The Retrofit Source through its next level of expansion.”
