New Mitchell Information Center Parts and Labor Lookup Now Available

New module leverages built-in VIN decode and search functionality.

SAN DIEGO – Mitchell International’s new collision parts and labor reference database is now available online. Accessible through the new "Online Parts and Labor Lookup" module, the database is now an integral feature of the Mitchell Information Center and leverages its built-in VIN decode and search functionality.

Mitchell Information Center is a searchable database of historical vehicle repair reference data that spans up to 30 years. With the addition of the Online Parts and Labor Lookup module, Mitchell offers customers a choice of three mediums — print, CD and online — to access the collision parts and labor reference information they need to return vehicles to pre-accident condition.

"Collision repairers and insurers have trusted the Mitchell Parts and Labor Database for decades as an impartial source for quality collision estimating information, and we’re excited to now offer it online within the Mitchell Information Center," said Peter Lovasz, director of product management for Mitchell International.

"Online Parts and Labor Lookup will provide our customers with more flexibility in accessing Mitchell’s industry leading collision repair and reference data and a compelling add-on to complement the print publications, which will still be offered," he added.

Accessing the collision parts and labor reference database online allows users to benefit from value-added features of the Mitchell Information Center, such as timely updates that include new models each month and daily price updates that help ensure that the most current parts and labor information available are provided. All of the information — whether print or online — is provided in a user-friendly format that makes articles easy to read with bold type, large print, simple navigation, enlarged graphics, enhanced procedure pages and more. Mitchell’s in-house editorial staff of I-Car certified and ASE Master Techs assemble the information to provide users with one of the most complete online data sources in the industry.

"Mitchell’s Parts and Labor Database is the backbone of our best-in-class estimating solution UltraMate, and we’re proud to now offer this information online," said Marc Brungger, executive vice president of Auto Physical Damage, Mitchell International. "Making this information available online reinforces Mitchell’s status as the leading content provider and its commitment to provide the industry with technologically advanced value-added solutions."

Collision repairers are encouraged to visit www.mitchellinformationcenter.com or contact Mitchell International at (800) 238-9111 for more information and a free trial of this new data module.
