Gates Corp. Enhances NaviGates Online Automotive Parts Catalog

Company expands the NaviGates interactive parts catalog by providing instant access to Gates product information on the Web.

DENVER, Colo. – Gates Corp. has unveiled a new, enhanced Web version of NaviGates, the company’s online product and parts catalog.

NaviGates Web does not require users to download a program to their computers. Users can simply visit NaviGates.Gates.com to access automotive, heavy-duty, and OtherMotive parts information, routing diagrams, replacement intervals, product images, tech tips, training, a Gates store locator and more.

“Gates has continuously been at the forefront of digital resources innovation within our industry,” said David Miller, Gates vice president of marketing. “The NaviGates smartphone app and desktop versions have been extremely successful over the past few years. Now, we’re optimizing our user experience by offering a Web-based version of the system our customers already depend on.”

Finding real-time parts information within the NaviGates site is simple, according to Gates. Users can search by vehicle, VIN or part description to quickly find OE-quality Gates parts and products. Other NaviGates features include:

·      Direct access to timing and serpentine belt routing diagrams
·      Gates VIN decoder
·      OE/competitor part number interchange
·      Application specific product photos and descriptions
·      Store locator
·      Replacement intervals
