NAPA Echlin/Belden Receives ‘Supplier of the Year’ Award from NAPA Under Hood Sales Group

The award was presented to Mike Fitzgerald, vice president sales and marketing for Echlin/Belden, and Stephen Ponticelli, Echlin/Belden national sales manager, by Jeff Norton, national sales manager for the NAPA Under Hood Group, during the Echlin/Belden annual line review at the NAPA headquarters.

LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y. – NAPA Echlin/Belden has received the “Supplier of the Year 2010” award from the NAPA Under Hood Sales Group in recognition of its outstanding support and service.

“We are truly honored to be named NAPA Under Hood Sales Group’s 2010 ‘Supplier of the Year’,” said Fitzgerald. “I would like to thank everyone who worked especially hard to make this prestigious award a reality. We were evaluated based upon our sales growth, our marketing program support – in particular the work we did for the NAPA Belden re-launch – and the dedicated support that our NAPA Echlin regional managers provided to their team. So far, 2011 is off to a great start; we have high hopes of becoming the first three-time award winner.”

“The NAPA Under Hood Group has been representing the Echlin, Belden and Mileage Plus product lines to the NAPA distribution centers, stores and installer customers since its inception in 2003,” said Ponticelli. “Our two organizations have worked closely together to build a sales strategy and promotional campaign designed to create sales growth for the NAPA system. The NAPA Under Hood Group and our team of NAPA Echlin regional sales managers provide a network of customer support throughout the NAPA system to help make the NAPA AUTO PARTS store the destination for engine management related products in their market.”
