Long Island Truck Parts Celebrates 40th Anniversary

Started by Anthony Naples in 1972, Long Island Truck Parts is a second-generation, full-line, heavy-duty aftermarket parts company.

MEDFORD, N.Y. – Long Island Truck Parts is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Started by Anthony Naples in 1972, Long Island Truck Parts is a second-generation, full-line, heavy-duty aftermarket parts company. Starting primarily as a driveline house, the company has expanded into one of the premier heavy-duty aftermarket suppliers on Long Island. They now have three locations in New York: Medford, Riverhead and West Babylon.

The company attributes its success to the "above and beyond" customized service and knowledge that its sales staff offers to customers.

“The bottom line is that this business is a people business built on relationships and trust, and we are grateful to have a motivated and loyal staff,” said Robert Naples, who has been president since 2000.

The company also credits part of its success to its strong relationship with Truck Pride/HDA Truck Pride, which it joined in 1998.

Long Island Truck Parts is planning on celebrating its 40th anniversary with a customer appreciation celebration with all of its vendors, family and friends in the fall of 2012.
