MILWAUKEE — Johnson Controls (JCI) has been named to the Pew Center’s Business Environmental Leadership Council (BELC) in recognition of the company’s efforts to address global climate change.
JCI is one of just 44 corporate members of the BELC.
The BELC was established in 1998 by the Pew Center on Global Climate Change, an organization that brings together business leaders, policy makers, scientists and other experts to apply innovation and strategy to the issues of global climate change. The council is the largest U.S.-based association of corporations focused on addressing the challenges of climate change.
