BELLEVUE, WA — PACCAR Chairman and CEO Mark Pigott has been recognized as one of the top three CEOs in the machinery sector by Institutional Investor magazine.
In its January 2005 edition, Institutional Investor magazine published its annual survey rating the best CEOs in America by business sector. In its survey, the magazine asked portfolio managers and equity analysts to select the best-performing executives in the business segments they analyzed throughout the year.
“It is a wonderful honor to be associated with executives such as Jim Farrell of Illinois Tool Works and Sandy Cutler of Eaton,” said Pigott. “This recognition is a clear reflection of the dedication of PACCAR’s 20,500 talented employees who deliver outstanding products and services to PACCAR dealers and customers every day. The company is celebrating its 100th year in 2005 and is pleased to be recognized for its quality and technology leadership, as well as superior shareholder return.”
PACCAR manufactures light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and Foden nameplates, as well as industrial winches under the Braden, Gearmatic and Carco nameplates. It also provides financial services and distributes truck parts related to its principal business.
