FullSpeed Automotive, home to flagship brands Grease Monkey, SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service, and Kwik Kar, recently appointed Kelvin Sellers as new General Counsel for FullSpeed Automotive brands.
In his role, Sellers will contribute to profitable growth as a thought leader, while navigating the organization through and around the distractions that delay or inhibit achievement of company goals, according to the company.
With nearly 15 years of experience in the automotive and aftermarket space, Sellers is a trusted legal professional with law firm, public accounting, and in-house counsel experience, FullSpeed Automotive says.
Most recently, Sellers served as vice president and general counsel for Interstate Batteries, Inc., where he led long-term legal strategy while spotlighting and advising on critical issues requiring executive leadership and ultimately board level review. His work at Interstate was recognized with selected honors including Texas Diversity Council’s Top General Counsel Award in 2022, National Diversity Council’s Most Influential African Americans in Business, and The Dallas 500 – The Most Powerful Business Leaders in Dallas-Fort Worth, according to FullSpeed Automotive.
“Kelvin’s vast experience and accomplishments in the automotive and aftermarket space are admirable and impressive,” said Rob Lynch, chief executive officer. “I’m very excited to be able to bring him on as General Counsel at FullSpeed, and I know he will do great things in this role to help support our brand and franchisees.”
