ExtremeWrench.com has announced the release of a free mobile Web application for independent repair shops. The free app allows consumers to make appointments, get map directions, contact and shop ratings all in one location. The shops can be searched by various methods including zip code, city, state, car lines serviced as well as shop rating.  Shop owners can log in to Extremewrench to preview the app as well as share it with their customers.

The directory currently lists more than 100,000 independent repair shops across the nation. ExtremeWrench services are offered free to both the shop owner and the consumer. Repair shops also can join the multi-brand Extremewrench rewards program. Independent repair shops are welcome to submit their repair shops here.
