Equip Auto on Tour Returns in 2024

The event aims to connect automotive aftermarket professionals in their local communities across France.

Equip Auto is set to continue its regional exhibition format with EQUIP AUTO On Tour in 2024, following its inaugural edition in 2021. The event aims to connect with automotive sector professionals in their local communities across France. The tour will feature events in three French cities: Montpellier on June 8, Reims on June 29 and Rennes on September 28.

The 2021 edition of EQUIP AUTO On Tour revealed that 70% of visitors had never been to EQUIP AUTO Paris, with two-thirds representing new companies. Event organizers said this led way to the regional format in reaching a broader audience.

The 2024 edition promises an enhanced experience for exhibitors and visitors, tailored to meet specific needs and expectations. Each event in the French regional capitals will feature a unique program, the organization said.

EQUIP AUTO On Tour 2024 will offer a variety of stand sizes to exhibitors— 7.5 square meters (80 square feet), 12.5 square meters (134 square feet), and 15 square meters (161 square feet)— allowing more space to display products and services, including outdoor exhibition options.

A new addition is the live demonstration zone, focusing on three themes: energy sobriety and green transition, connected maintenance and electrification. This zone will enable exhibitors to showcase their equipment and solutions in operation.

The event will also feature a workshop area that will offer sessions on the latest developments in auto repair, including electronic maintenance, ADAS calibration and work on electrified vehicles.

Each city will present a “Local Aftermarket Panorama” roundtable, bringing together local industry figures to discuss market data like local on-road fleets, vehicle age and powertrains.

Additionally, the “Outstanding Initiative” competition will be held again in 2024. Supported by trade associations, this competition recognizes local aftermarket and service professionals for their exemplary initiatives in sustainability, management, employee training and innovation in job disciplines and services, the organziation said.
