E3 Spark Plugs Hires Social Media Manager

Most recently, Erica Blake was employed as a public relations account coordinator at SHIFT Communications in Boston, Mass., where she gained experience in social media management, media negotiations and public relations.

POINT VERDE, Fla. — E3 Spark Plugs has announced the appointment of Erica Blake as social media manager. Blake’s background includes various positions at Alpha Productions and Advantage Publishing Inc., both Gainesville, Fla.-based companies.

Most recently, Blake was employed as a public relations account coordinator at SHIFT Communications in Boston, Mass., where she gained experience in social media management, media negotiations and public relations.

The University of Florida graduate will oversee all social media activity for the Point Verde-based spark plug manufacturer. Blake started at E3 part-time in December 2010 after moving back to her home state of Florida.

Steve Joiner, vice president of sales and marketing for E3 Spark Plugs, said, “Erica has been a great addition to our team and we are excited to have her on board in a full-time capacity.”
