DMA Sales LLC, a parts manufacturer and supplier to the automotive aftermarket parts industry, has named Jimmy Thomas as its manager of wholesale distributor sales.
Thomas will be working within the DMA Sales team where he will interact with WD customers and prospects to determine the best opportunities for successfully growing their businesses with DMA’s products and programs.
Prior to joining DMA, Thomas worked for the Elliot Davis Accounting firm, where he developed and worked with customer clients performing various consultative services. Prior to that, Thomas worked for the South Carolina Chambers of Commerce, where he coordinated and ran their summer business camp for more than 200 students and faculty. Thomas is a graduate of the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting.
“Jimmy is a very smart and hard-working individual. His pleasant personality, paired with his consistent focus for the well-being of the customer, are just a couple of the attributes that make him a strong salesperson,” said John Treece, president and CEO of DMA Holdings Inc. “He has already brought positive change to our sales efforts in his short time with the company.”
DMA Sales also has named Jordan Treece as its assistant product manager.
Treece will be working as a member of the DMA product development team, where she will assume the responsibilities for product category management of electronic throttle bodies, heavy-duty shocks and gas spring lifts. Treece also will be responsible for the OES private label program development for complete strut assemblies.
Treece is a graduate of the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business, where she earned a triple major in finance, marketing, and organizational management. Treece completed all three degrees with an overall 3.93 GPA and graduated in the top 2 percent of her class with Magna Cum Laude honors. In addition, she was a Palmetto Fellow Scholar and was named to the University’s Dean’s Scholarship honor roll.
“Clearly, Jordan gets her intelligence from her mother,” said John Treece, her father, and president and CEO of DMA Holdings Inc.
Prior to joining DMA, Treece worked for AGFIRST Farm Credit as a marketing research and strategy intern. Prior to that, she interned with Colonial Life Insurance Group as a Client Data Specialist for two years.
This, however, is not Treece’s first time working for DMA—she was an intern with the marketing department in 2013.
“Jordan has literally grown up in the automotive parts business,” said Treece. “I think it is wonderful to see a young female with so much potential choose to be a part of the automotive aftermarket. We are very proud to have her on the team.”
