Delco Remy to Offer Electrical System Warranty Services at TravelCenters of America

Remy Inc. has announced an exclusive agreement with TravelCenters of America (TA) to enable its customers to access Delco Remy warranty services through TA’s network of company-operated and franchise Truck Service locations. The expanded Delco Remy parts and warranty access, which will began March 1, builds on the proven success of the TA service program, through which 157 North American locations serve as major referral points for emergency and roadside repairs, warranty service and preventive maintenance.

LOUISVILLE, KY — Remy Inc. has announced an exclusive agreement with TravelCenters of America (TA) to enable its customers to access Delco Remy warranty services through TA’s network of company-operated and franchise Truck Service locations.

The expanded Delco Remy parts and warranty access, which will began March 1, builds on the proven success of the TA service program, through which 157 North American locations serve as major referral points for emergency and roadside repairs, warranty service and preventive maintenance.

Benefits included in the Delco Remy/TA program includes warranty coverage on all genuine or remanufactured Delco Remy products. Service is available to customers with Delco Remy remanufactured parts on their vehicles, and is available at 157 TA Truck Service locations nationwide and in Canada.

“It’s our goal to make Delco Remy products and services available to customers at a nationwide network of service centers conveniently located right off the highway,” said Randy Andis, director of fleet operations for Remy Inc.’s Delco Remy heavy duty business unit. “Our growing partnership with TA means exceptional convenience and unsurpassed access to the world’s finest electrical system products.”

TA’s warranty administration covers any Delco Remy heavy-duty starter or alternator under warranty, including Genuine Delco Remy original parts, remanufactured parts and Road Gang Premium Electrical Systems. “The Delco Remy brand’s expansion of this program strengthens the fleet customer’s experience by ensuring rapid, highly convenient access to critical electrical system services,” Andis said. “The support of industry leaders such as Delco Remy has made TA the industry model for customer satisfaction and loyalty.”

TravelCenters of America is North America’s largest network of full-service travel centers, with 161 locations in 41 U.S. states and Canada. Among the services available through TA Truck Service locations are minor repair work, preventive maintenance, brakes, electrical, heating/air conditioning, D.O.T. inspections and trailer maintenance/repair.
