NEW ALBANY, Ohio — Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG) has been awarded a new contract to provide several different CVG interior products for Daimler Trucks North America.

CVG will ship the parts to Daimler’s production centers located in Cleveland, N.C.; Saltillo, Mexico; and Santiago, Mexico. Phased-in production is scheduled to begin at the end of April, with full production expected by the end of May.

Mervin Dunn, president and chief executive officer of Commercial Vehicle Group stated, "Certainly, this additional business is welcome during these difficult economic times. We are pleased that Daimler, a long-term partner with CVG, selected us for this new business award. It demonstrates their comfort with the strength and reliability of our company as well as the value of the products we produce and will help strengthen our competitive position through capacity utilization over the long-term."
