Chilton Introduces Advanced Technical Service Bulletin Database

All Chilton online products now come with increased TSB database functionality.

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – Chilton, part of Cengage Learning, has announced the availability of a new Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) database available with its online products – ChiltonDIY, ChiltonPRO and ChiltonLibrary.

The new Chilton TSB database includes expanded search criteria capabilities available to customers. Database searches are now possible using several criteria, including system, symptom, diagnostic trouble code and TSB number. A keyword search also allows users to type in any word to find the information quickly.

More than 70,000 TSBs are now available for vehicles produced during the past 20 years. Unlike some competitor databases, TSBs available through the Chilton database are electronically reproduced, rather than scanned, making them easier to read. For even further clarity, the same colors used in Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) bulletins will appear in the Chilton products.

“Automotive technicians are challenged to stay on top of the latest manufacturer updates for an ever-growing number of makes and models,” said David Koontz, publisher, Chilton. “Chilton’s TSB database helps to manage the updates with easy search options and electronically reproduced OEM bulletins that are easy to read.”

The new Chilton TSB database is available at no additional cost to new and current customers of all of Chilton’s online products.
