PASADENA, Md. — The Chesapeake Automotive Business Association (CABA) has introduced another communications option to its membership with the creation of a Twitter account, MyCABA.
The interactive networking tool, available on-line at www.twitter.com/MyCABA, is intended for sharing news, views, comments and questions relevant to aftermarket small business, the industry and its professionals, particularly those in the Maryland, D.C. and Delaware region. CABA expects to focus content (called a "tweet") on association initiatives including education, government affairs, market development and business operations.
CABA will continue to depend on its printed and mailed monthly newsletter to inform members on timely and important topics and the association’s website at www.caba.biz will also continue as a resource for members seeking general information and event registration forms.
"MyCABA at Twitter is intended to be more of an interactive communications option," said Skip Potter, executive director of the association. CABA staff can tweet a question or news item and solicit a direct or public response from members or other visitors to the MyCABA Twitter page.
