Peach State Truck Centers in Byron, Georgia, recently named Brian Green as the dealership’s new branch manager, along with announcing a refocus of its efforts toward truck sales, service and parts in the Central Georgia market. Peach State Truck Centers Byron is a Western Star, Detroit Diesel and Thomas Built Buses franchise and a part of one of the largest commercial truck dealer groups in the United States.

“We have significant changes planned for our Byron location so that it better exemplifies the brands that we represent and better serves the community,” says Green, who has been with Peach State Truck Centers since 2008. “We plan to stock new and used commercial trucks and buses, make facility upgrades, and be more proactive in soliciting parts and service business in the Byron/Macon area.”

Green was in the automotive industry for more than 20 years, practically working every job at the dealership level before joining the ranks of Peach State Freightliner in McDonough as a new truck sales representative. After seven years in that position, Green switched to used truck sales at SelecTrucks of Atlanta, where he worked for four years.

Now at the helm of Peach State Truck Centers Byron, Green, with Peach State Truck Centers support, will make progress in bringing more awareness to the Byron location. Along with revitalizing the facility, Green and his team will be reaching out to serve the customers locally. All new efforts will be guided by the Peach State Truck Centers vision statement to be dealer of choice in the markets the company serves.

“We are connected to amazing resources through the Peach State, Western Star, Detroit Diesel and Thomas Built Buses brand names that will help us serve our Byron/Macon customers’ needs,” continued Green.
