BASF Launches Refinity Cloud-Based Platform

BASF’s Coatings division has launched Refinity, a new cloud-based digital platform for its body shop customers all over the world.

Refinity will provide customers with a seamless digital experience designed to drive efficiency in the areas of color, business, training and support solutions. The platform also will feature links to selected partner offerings to further connect customers to industry digital offerings that drive profitability and efficiency into the overall body shop process.

“Our top priority has always been the success of our customers, and one of the ways we accomplish that is through innovations and solutions like Refinity,” said Jane Niemi, North America marketing manager for BASF Refinish. “Refinity gives our customers the tools they need to streamline the repair process, adapt to the rapidly-shifting automotive industry and work more efficiently in a digital world.”

Refinity’s Business Apps provide complete transparency into consumption and profitability metrics for each repair completed within their shop. With Refinity, body shop owners, managers, and technicians can track product usage and summarize associated costs and profitability for paint and related materials. Body shops can set their preferred portfolio of products, manage pricing and stock levels, and automatically generate recommended orders to optimize their inventory.
