Automotive Distribution Network Selects Edgenet as Preferred Provider of Product Information

The Edgenet Network will provide ADN with the ability to collaborate, collect and share product content from its suppliers with their internal applications and member organizations.

ATLANTA — Edgenet Inc., a provider of product data management, product listings, Internet marketing and selling solutions, has announced that Automotive Distribution Network has selected its Big Hammer data services for product information management.

Tom Frey, Automotive Distribution Network’s director of information and technology, said, “Quality and complete product information to support sales combined with logistical data to streamline our distribution process is a win for both our suppliers and members.

“The Network and Edgenet will work together to make it easier for our suppliers to provide complete, quality content that is absolutely critical to our success,” Frey said. “Our goal is to reduce or eliminate the duplication of data efforts across our organization while increasing the quality of the information we receive.”

With Edgenet’s data services, The Automotive Distribution Network’s suppliers will be able to:
 • Save time and money with one central location for acquisition, management, distribution and optimization of product information;
• Increase efficiencies by managing logistics, marketing, and private product information in one location;
• Eliminate server acquisition and management costs for managing product data and digital assets; and
• Present consistent quality data every time with progressive data quality measures.
