Automann Constructs New Texas Distribution Center

The new facility will provide greater capacity and efficiency with its cross-docked layout and dedicated will-call area.

Automann announced it has completed building and setting up a new state-of-the-art 354,000 sq. ft. distribution facility located at 1250 N Duncanville Rd. in Duncanville, Texas, a move it says would not have been possible without the continued support of its distributor customers who have been key to its growth over the past 28 years.

The new Duncanville, Texas, warehouse is located 13 miles East of its existing Arlington, Texas, location, off Interstate 20. It will provide greater capacity and efficiency with its cross-docked layout and dedicated will-call area, the company says. And, its Class-A institutional-quality design and construction provides the ability to better service its South West heavy-duty truck parts distributors.

Automann says highlights of the new distribution center includes:

  • Located off I-20 exit
  • 354,244 sq. ft. facility with 8” thick warehouse floor slab specially designed for heavy-duty operation
  • 15,000 sq. ft. office, open floor plan and organized by department
  • Cross dock design with 38 dock doors, 5 drive-in ramps and extra wide 60 ft. bay
  • Dedicated will-call area
  • Wireless warehouse management system integrated with ERP & I-Warehouse for fleet management
  • Storage racking system to 25’ with very narrow aisles (VNA) with 32,000 pallet positions
