Arnold Oil Company Joins Alliance CVHD Program

Arnold Oil Co. joined the Commercial Vehicle and Heavy-Duty program as the newest member of All-Pro Truck Parts.

Arnold Oil Company officially joined the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc.’s Commercial Vehicle and Heavy-Duty program as the newest member of All-Pro Truck Parts, effective June 7, 2023.

“We are delighted to welcome Arnold Oil Company and the Arnold family into the Alliance Commercial Vehicle and Heavy Duty program,” said John R. Washbish, president & CEO of the Alliance, “They have always been an outstanding contributor to the independent aftermarket and we look forward to supporting their growth in the CVHD segment.”

Arnold Oil Company, a member of Federated Auto Parts, “will be able to take full advantage of the Alliance Commercial Vehicle and Heavy Duty toolbox which includes industry-leading Information technology solutions and established partnerships with product manufacturers and the brands customers demand,” Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance says.

Leading the Arnold Oil heavy-duty program is Jayson Arnold, vice president of Arnold Oil Company. Arnold has been working closely with Justin Hebert, director of the CVHD program for the Alliance. The goal is to provide Arnold Oil with all the tools needed to compete and succeed in the heavy-duty aftermarket.

“As a family business in the aftermarket we are excited to be joining the Alliance CVHD program,” said Arnold. “We have a long history of providing quality parts and service to our customers in the automotive and light-duty arena, but Arnold Oil Company has serviced customers in the oilfield industry for some time, with packaged and bulk oils and fuels. With the support from a full-fledged heavy-duty program, the service and parts availability we can offer our customers will only expand. As a member of the Automotive Parts Services Group (APSG) it is advantageous for us to take advantage of joint venture opportunities like the Alliance CVHD program.”

Despite a tough commercial tire market in 2023 due to overstock and the effects of a rubber-banding supply chain, some tire manufacturers are expressing a cautious optimism for stabilization and gradual recovery through the rest of 2024 and into 2025.

"The economy is not showing signs that it’s going to slow down, but I don’t think the situation’s going to improve dramatically by the end of this year. It’s more likely next year," said Pierluigi Cumo, Vice President of B2B products, at Michelin North America. "We can see the light because the beginning of 2023 was very bad. I think now we’ve found the bottom, and I don’t think we’re going to get much further from the bottom in 2024."
