Kurt Croell’s Auto Parts store in New Hampton, Iowa, has joined APH’s network of independently-owned stores and will now operate under the name Auto Value of New Hampton. Originally established in 1956 as Western Auto, the business underwent several name changes over the years. Most recently, it was known as CARQUEST. In 2008, Kurt Croell took ownership of the store. Managed by Marv Eiler and Kevin Fisher, it has since become a staple in the New Hampton community, APH said.
“We’ve partnered with APH for the long haul,” Eiler said. “Their wide-ranging resources in inventory, tech, marketing and support will really boost our day-to-day. We’re all about customer service and keeping those Midwestern values strong, making sure our shelves are always stocked for our customers. Being a family-owned business like us, we align well with APH’s culture.”
“Kurt Croell, Marv Eiler and Kevin Fisher are highly respected in the New Hampton community for providing superior parts, competitive pricing and exceptional service,” said Corey Bartlett, CEO of APH. “We are thrilled that they have selected APH to support their longstanding commitment to serving the repair, collision and agricultural sectors. This partnership marks an exciting opportunity for APH to broaden its footprint in Iowa.”
Under the new name, Auto Value of New Hampton, the store has undergone enhancements, including refreshed exterior signage and a completely renovated showroom. With these improvements, Eiler and Fisher have expanded their inventory of products, better serving the needs of both local businesses and residents in the New Hampton area.
Auto Value of New Hampton will continue to offer its existing services such as custom hydraulic hose replacement and custom paint mixing. For hard-to-find parts, the store will benefit from expedited overnight delivery service from APH’s distribution center in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
