Autologue Computer Systems announced it launched eReturns as an enhancement to its customer service portal, eOffice. The eOffice application allows shop customers to view account balances, invoice detail and statements online and make credit card payments.
Distributors have embraced eOffice as a way to allow their shop customers to view and manage their balances to reduce the time and effort in keeping accounts current, Autologue said. eReturns will appear as a tab in eOffice as part of the application.
The new eReturns module enables the shop to log a part into the app, select a return reason and view the progress of the return process. The application confirms that the part number has been purchased from the distributor and both parties have visibility of the return request. It is also available for the delivery staff or sales rep to log in the returns on behalf of the shop.
The app can be accessed by both the shop and the distributor to monitor the progress and make updates. They can access the app from their desktop computer, tablet or cell phone.
eReturns is available as part of eOffice for distributors that use one of the Autologue business systems or any of several other automotive industry business systems, according to the company.
