Annual SEMA Installation Gala Set For July 26

Dinner will recognize SEMA Hall of Fame inductees and new Board members.

DIAMOND BAR, Calif. — SEMA will host its annual Installation Banquet & Gala Fundraiser on Friday, July 26, at the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel & Conference Center in Pomona, Calif. The annual event is well attended by automotive professionals and serves as a swearing-in ceremony for the incoming Board of Directors, while honoring the newest SEMA Hall of Fame inductees.

"The annual Installation Banquet is a chance to honor our newly elected Board of Directors as well as our Hall of Fame members," said Chris Kersting, SEMA president and CEO. "The fact that we are able to support SEMA’s selected charitable organizations is an added bonus and something we are proud to sponsor."

The annual SEMA Installation Banquet & Gala Fundraiser is open to all industry professionals. The event begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails, at which time the Pinewood Drag Races will take place. Immediately following is a sit-down dinner where the 2013 SEMA Hall of Fame Members are introduced alongside the newly elected SEMA Board of Directors, who will be sworn in as part of the official program.

The SEMA Board elections are in progress, and results will be announced in June. The 2013 SEMA Hall of Fame inductees are George Barris, Eric Grant, Wade Kawasaki and Joe "Gentleman Joe" Schubeck.

Tickets and further information are available at www.SEMA.org/GalaTickets or from Jamie Eriksen at [email protected] or (909) 978-6737. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit various SEMACares charities.
