Customized bumpers will be first in product line-up.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Accuride Corp. this week unveiled its new Highway Original brand of OEM-quality products geared toward the commercial vehicle aftermarket.

“Through the Highway Original brand, Accuride will bring to market products to help drivers operate more efficiently while enhancing the look of their vehicles,” said Rick Schomer, Accuride’s senior vice president of Sales and Marketing.

The first product Accuride has introduced for the new brand is the Highway Original branded line of customized bumpers. The bumper line-up features:

• Bumpers to fit most popular heavy-duty truck makes and models
• Various end style options, such as Texas Square, Tapered, Open End, and more
• Offered in chrome steel, black prime-painted steel (one-year limited warranty) and stainless steel (five-year limited warranty)
• Optional road light cut outs and customizable logo cut outs
• Backside of chrome bumpers are coated with an acrylic latex automotive paint to resist corrosion
• Optional premium chrome finish that includes a copper under-layer, creating a brilliant show-quality shine

Customers can design a bumper through the brand’s website at www.highwayoriginal.com.

“With drivers looking for ways to stand out from the rig next to them, we’re excited to bring this line of customizable bumpers to market,” added Schomer. “In addition to the bumper line announced today, drivers can look for the brand to debut additional customizable and efficiency enhancing products in the near future.”
