AAPEX Accepting Proposals for Training in Joe’s Garage

Proposals should be geared toward techs, shop owners and other automotive service professionals, and applications must be completed by Friday, March 10.

AAPEX 2023 is inviting technical and business management trainers to submit session proposals for the Joe’s Garage training program. Proposals should be geared toward technicians, shop owners and other automotive service professionals, and applications must be completed by Friday, March 10.

Training sessions will take place during AAPEX 2023, Tuesday, Oct. 31 through Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas. Business management sessions will be 1.5 hours in length and technical training will be 2 hours.  

Proposals will be evaluated by a panel of independent repair shop owners and technicians using a review process and scoring system. AAPEX will announce the lineup of selected training sessions for Joe’s Garage in early May. 

Training sessions at last year’s event focused on many essential, timely and relevant topics including hybrid and electric vehicles (EVs), advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) calibration, CAN bus diagnosis, becoming a top 1% shop, charging what you’re worth and electrical diagnosis.
