Share a Memory That Sparks Your Love for Your Car

Enter the "Me and My Car" contest for a chance to win a GPS system and $150 gas card.

WASHINGTON — The Quality Parts Coalition (QPC) has announced the launch of the “Me and My Car” contest on Facebook, encouraging consumers to share their memorable car stories for a chance to win a prize package consisting of a Garmin GPS nϋvi 3750 and a $150 gasoline gift card.

The contest, which runs now through Oct. 14, invites car owners to reflect on their fondest car-related memories. Whether it involved fighting over who got to ride “shotgun” on a family road trip, driving to your favorite band’s concert, visiting a secluded hideaway with a special someone or watching a scenic view from your car, the QPC wants to hear from you.

To enter the contest, follow three simple steps on QPC’s Facebook page. First, click the “Like” button and fill out the registration form. Next, upload a photo of yourself with your automobile at a unique or special location. Finally, post a story about a positive, memorable experience with your car in 1,000 characters or less.

Contest submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges and the winner will be chosen based on the creativity and originality of their entry, the positive sentiment the photo and story capture about the automobile and the overall quality of the submission.

“We’re doing this contest not only to capture the connection drivers have with their cars, but also to raise awareness about the importance of affordable auto parts alternatives when the time comes for consumers to repair their cars,” said QPC Executive Director Eileen Sottile.

The contest is live now and will close at 11:59 p.m. ET on Oct. 14. The winner will be notified late October. For complete contest details, please visit www.facebook.com/KeepAutoPartsAffordable.
