Interstate Turbo Supply was founded in 1968 by Clenten Miles. His son, Dan Miles, assumed the role of president upon his retirement in 1977. Dan will remain with the company, and employment offers were extended to all operational employees.

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — FleetPride Inc., one of the nation’s largest independent aftermarket distributors of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, announced the acquisition of Interstate Turbo Supply in Commerce City, Colo. FleetPride said the acquisition will provide a more diverse customer base, enhanced sales opportunities and an additional location to serve the needs of the heavy-duty parts industry in the Denver, Colo., marketplace.

"The Interstate Turbo Supply acquisition represents FleetPride’s second expansion into the greater Denver area. FleetPride’s current Denver location, managed by Randy Luttrell, has been very effective in servicing its customer base. Together the two branches will complement each other by expanding FleetPride’s reach within this market," said W.M. McGee, president and CEO.

"Interstate Turbo Supply has a long history in the Denver area, and as a result, they have an immensely loyal following. Dan Miles and his team have built a superior service model. We are proud to invite the Interstate Turbo Supply employees into the FleetPride family. We look forward to providing the same high level of service to the ITS customers," said Lee Stockseth, chief operating officer.
